At our September meeting, we have a lot of exciting things going on!
First of all, we will be presenting a check to RSQ Animal Rescue with the proceeds from our most recent event “For The Love of Animals”. Check presentations are always a highlight at our meetings, and you won’t want to miss this one.
The nominating Committee will be announcing the proposed slate of officers up for election in October, and will also ask for additional nominations from the floor.
We will have Bennett Navarro, Commander of the American Legion Post #90 as our speaker. She and her helpers will be doing a flag folding demonstration where they will share with us the significance of every fold of the American Flag.
Last but certainly not least, if you ordered a SULS logo shirt, we really hope to have your shirts ready for distribution at the meeting. We hope you will wear it proudly at meetings, service projects, events and anywhere else you want to.
